Explain this depot system to me?
With pleasure! The Northern Inland is a big region so Frost has a depot system. There are locations where artists can drop off an artwork, and then after the Art Show pick up the work there. Purchasers of artwork at the Art Show can also use the depot system. That is, someone may buy a painting at the Art Show and opt to collect it at a depot. There are depots in Armidale, Gunnedah, Inverell, Narrabri and Tamworth. To use the depot service there is an additional fee of $5 per artwork. Freight is $5 for each work using depots, which includes delivery from and back to the depot.
Depots will not accept the larger artworks. Artworks need to be 80cmx80cm or less to be received by a depot. For Sculptures/3D please contact the Exhibition Coordinator to ensure transport space is available for your works from a depot.
The deadline for dropping off to depots is Wednesday August 28, 2024.
Artists with larger or fragile artworks are encouraged to deliver their works personally or via Courier.
Please note, you cannot give Entry Forms to depots. Entries are online only.
Artists may also send works using Australia Post or a courier. Address them to Frost Over Barraba, 75 Queen St BARRABA 2347. They must arrive by Friday 30 August, 2024.
