Oil/acrylic painting w Peter Champion
Accomplished painter Peter Champion will work with you in both the studio and the field to capture some of the landscapes of the Barraba area, particularly focussing on capturing light. Intermediate students+.

Soapstone carving w Nicole Ballingal
Soapstone is a soft stone, easily carved with hand tools. Experienced sculptor Nicole will help you to make a small finished 3D Artwork in stone. All levels. Limit 12. Cost: $80
For the kids - Fun with paint
What better way to finish the term? Painting fun for 5-12 years. Limit 10. $15

Making fashion jewellery w Paula McIver
Work with beads, leather, pendants, crystal and metal to create your own earrings, bracelet and/or necklace with local craftsperson Paula McIver. Go home with a finished piece. All skill levels. Make the most of the striking visuals of the vintage Volkswagen rally that is part of Frost in 2017 with photojournalist Anne Greenwood. Includes portraiture of any proud and willing VW owners.

Perspective in a historic woolshed w Barbara Aroney & Anne Greenwood
Explore the unique light and lines of an Australian woolshed to try techniques to draw and paint convincing interiors. Use perspective and other techniques like focal point, lighting and tonal values using any medium with artist Barbara Aroney, or using the camera with photographer Anne Greenwood. All levels. Limit 10. Cost: $80 including morning tea.
