About Frost Over Barraba
Frost Over Barraba Arts Festival is a community art event held in the northern inland town of Barraba. Run for over 40 years, Frost has grown into a celebration of painting, photography, pottery, jewellery, music and so much more. It encourages participation from the novice to the experienced, with an eclectic mix of art, workshops, good food and fun.
The Festival runs at the end of June/early July in line with the first weekend of the NSW school holidays. The festival has many aspects, including a large exhibition of paintings, drawings, prints and photographs along with a wonderful variety of guest artists all in the Barraba RSL Memorial Hall, complemented by workshops and satellite exhibitions and events throughout Barraba.
