We've had a great festival this year. Thank you to everyone who participated. 631 artworks from entrants were in the main show plus 72 artworks from Guest Artists. This  makes a total of 703 works hung in Barraba's RSL Hall.  A record in Frost's 40 year history. Many visitors commented about the very high quality of the works, and also talked about how much they enjoyed their visit to Barraba.

14 June: Two Rupert Richardson paintings will be for sale by auction (Helmsman style) at the Frost Retrospective Show. 

2 June: Opening Night tickets are now available online at Trybooking.com. Book early to avoid disappointment! Over 500 works of art, complemented by a sumptuous menu of local produce, this night is one not to miss. $25 per person. Tickets also available at Saunders, 81 Queen Street Barraba.

1 June: The Events Program has been finalised and is now available for download. The program outlines the events and activities that will be available for the Frost weekend. All the Frost daytime exhibitions are on the one ticket ($8 for adults, $2 children, $20 family) which can be purchased at the main exhibition in the RSL Hall. The ticket is valid for all three days. Further details area available on the Events page.

15 April: Workshop bookings are now being taken. Check out the Workshops page for a printable Workshop Program, and book through the Community College Northern Inland. About Frost Over Barraba

Frost Over Barraba is a lively community art exhibition held in the northern inland town of Barraba. Run for 37 years by St Laurence's Anglican Church, Frost Over Barraba has been run by Barraba Community Inc since 2012. 

The festival has many aspects, including a large exhibition of paintings, drawings, prints and photographs in the Barraba RSL Memorial Hall, a 40th Frost Retrospective in the Anglican Church Youth Centre and a wonderful variety of guest artists and demonstrators. 

 This year there will be an extended workshop program due in part to generous funding from the Country Arts Support Program.  The total prize pool is around $7000.

Frost Over Barraba Arts Festival will be held Thursday 26 June to Sunday 29 June 2014. This year's Artists in Residence are photographer Steve Parish and painter Gordon Rossiter.

As Artists in Residence, Steve and Gordon will both be running two day workshops and will each present their creative journey at The Playhouse Hotel. More information can be found on our Artists in Residence page.

Frost Over Barraba is an all encompassing festival. It encourages participation from the novice to the experienced, with an eclectic mix of art, music and good food and fun. 
The Festival begins with Opening Night, held at the RSL Memorial Hall, cnr Queen and Savoy Streets, from 6.30pm on Thursday evening (26 June) . 
The Art Exhibition is then open to the public on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Numerous venues around town hold their own exhibitions over the weekend, including Warm and Woolly at the Claypan, The Manilla Art Collective at The Pantry and Herbert Walter Cotton at Andy's Guesthouse. 
On Saturday (28 June) The St Laurence's Family Fair in the grounds of St Laurences Anglican Church includes stalls, morning teas, lunchtime BBQ, adding to the festival atmosphere. Following this there will be an concert in the church at 1pm. 
A Country Arts Support Program grant of $1,500 from Regional Arts NSW has enabled Frost Over Barraba to run an exciting program of workshops in 2014.

Tamworth Regional Council generously supports Frost Over Barraba.
